A Little About Myself
How I Became a Pet Sitter
My career in the pet industry began in 2016 when I started pet sitting for family & friends in Sydney whilst working as a private investigator for insurance companies.
I decided in 2017 to complete my Cert 3 in Animal Studies as a mature aged student and obtained practical placement within a vet clinic. I gained valuable experience over the 12 months that provided me with further insight into animal care and enabled me to gain experience in administering medications, first aid and basic nursing duties of companion animals.
At the beginning of 2018 I found there was a need for dog walkers and pet sitters in the area. In March 2018 I decided to start up my own registered business and make the most of doing something I absolutely loved.
I since relocated to Melbourne at the end of 2018 and have continued to offer pet services covering inner north suburbs of Melbourne.
